Sandy Mush jail has people sleeping on the floor. there are five women sleeping on the floor, they can't get a bed. Sandy Mush is in Merced County. I am a concerned mother, my daughter is one of the women sleeping on the floor, I know that she is in jail, but I don't think she should be on the floor...if you can do something about this. Local football team 11 & 0 going into last playoff game

Memorial High Schools Panthers Football team is 11 & 0 going into the final game next Saturday. One of their key players is Kenny Coyle. An 8th grader from St. Anthonys. Panthers are the only team that has the players names on their jerseys like the professional teams. This was done by Kenny Coyle's mother for the first game of the play offs last week. She did this to encourage the players. The letters for the name plates were donated by the Falcons. It would be awsome if the team could get some news coverage.

Visalia, CA Grassroots community and environmental justice activists and organizations will join together for the fifth Central California Environmental Justice Network conference in Visalia on Saturday, November 15, 2008. The CCEJN conference will be. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 9:30 .m., Conference begins at 9:30 am .Workshops and Strategy Sessions will address Pollution, Asthma & Cancer Plaguing Low-Income and Immigrant Valley Communities Low-income and immigrant communities in the

Dolores Huerta, Founder of the Dolores Huerta Foundation, co-founder of the United Farm Workers Union and internationally renowned social justice and union leader will deliver the keynote address to inspire the growing grassroots activism in the Valley.

Central Valley residents are plagued with a variety of serious pollution issues that have contaminated the air, water and land and contributed to high rates of asthma and cancer. Valley residents are exposed to toxic and other pollution from toxic dumps, incinerators, toxic contamination sites, pesticides, diesel pollution, dirty power plants, sewage sludge dumping, dairies and other industrial activities that threaten public health.

Conference participants will participate in workshops to share their experiences and develop common strategies to pressure industry and government to start protecting. Workshops will include Climate Change, Health and Cumulative Impacts, Land Use and Poor Planning, Artistic Activism and Impacting Government and Regulatory Decision-Makers.

The conference will be bilingual Spanish and English. This is a free conference to the community, childcare, transportation assistance will be provided upon requests. Free continental breakfast and Lunch also provided.

When Ashley Swearengen began RJI just a few years ago, who would have imagined that Human Investment would rank equally with Economics and Infrastructure? The Central Valley has long been recognized as the home of "Cheap Labor", but at what cost? It appears to me that Fresno has been the brunt of far too many bad jokes when this is no joking matter at all (as a boomerang-er, I've heard most of them). We all have the opportunity to make CHANGE happen here as a model with global potential. It is not only our fair Community that experiences these ailments, but our Nation and our World as well. When an Initiative that recognizes that the Sigma of Infinity equals ONE, maybe we will move into something other than a binary simplex recognizing that we are not complete without each other. I believe that all the greatness necessary to bring this topic to reality is right HERE, right NOW. I'm not judging, and I don't hate anybody. It's just an observation seen while thumbing through the pages that will become the annuls of time.

Sirs I am crazed from what happened on this morning's View toward the end of the segment. There was a therapist and a woman who had been sexually abused by her father when she was a child. The very instant that she began to get into the details of her experience she was totally cut off (all sound removed) replaced by an exasperating weather and emergency tape that interestingly enough lasted until her description was completed.
WHAT is going on? Do we have the morality Nazi patrol protecting the viewers? I am just unbelieving that the Fresno channel could have this kind of 'protectionism' and intrusion laid on us.
I have written the same message to the 'mother ship' (I assume in N.Y.).
If I am not given a personal reply I am writing to the people on that show.

I AM NOT VERY GOOD ON THE COMP. BUT ....WHERE ARE ALL THE PROGRAMS THAT WAS TO HELP THE LITTLE PEOPLE WHO GOT BURNED IN THE MORTGAGE FIASCO,I KEEP HEARING THAT THEY ARE ON THERE WAY,$600.00 DOESN'T TOUCH IT!!I' 53 YEARS OLD WAS SUCKED INTO SIGNING AN 9% NEG. A.R.M LOAN,NOW I HAVE NO PRINCIPAL LEFT AND MY PAYMENT IS GOING TO GO FROM $846.00 TO $2,200.00 IN A FEW MONTHS.I HAVE A PERFECT PAYMENT RECORD(means nothing) I AM DEBT FREE EXCEPT FOR 1CREDIT WITH A SMALL AMOUNT ON IT AND NO COMPANY WOULD HELP ME, BUT THE ONES WHO SAID THEY COULD WANTED $1,900.00 UP FRONT,DUH I DON'T HAVE IT!!OR MISS A PAYMENT OR TWO THEN THEY WILL HELP YOU,I AM TRYING TO NOT GET BEHIND,I'M TRYING TO DO SOMETHING --BEFORE IT HAPPENS!NOW THEY TELL ME I HAVE CANCER AND WILL BE STARTING MY CHEMO NEXT WEEK,I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO--DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMETHING OR SOMEONE I CAN CONTACT,I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY HOUSE,OR EVEN TRY TO MOVE WHILE I'M ON CHEMO...SINCERELY...AARON...47 ON OUR SIDE

Fresno Pd Fireworks

Watching the video made me feel sick and very sorry for the media. Wow, they must feel proud to be able to do this to our heroes!! These are, in fact, the same individuals that you would call if you or your family were in danger! It seems that they do not have anything else to do but make a group of officers seem like very bad criminals. Way to go Santaya Rose!! You should feel proud of yourself. Did you get an extra treat for running this story?
The photo of the sergeant is being treated the same as if he were a suspect in a serious crime. It reminds me of the time Officer/Chaplain Hurth was being charged for murdering his lover's husband. The photo of Hurth was being shown the same way. What these officers did was poor judgement indeed. This is a personnel matter not something for the news! Do we notice these officers when they go out and protect us? I only pray that the officers do not think that your portrayal of them represents the majority of people in this community!!
